Accurate Psychic Readings

Do you believe in accurate psychic readings? Here's why you should not discount the possibility!
We've all seen at least one television program, where the host of the show claims to have psychic abilities and to be able to give accurate psychic readings for complete strangers in their guest audience. Viewers, while finding these shows fascinating, must also have a certain amount of skepticism. As with the old style fortune tellers at the circus, there's always an element of distrust. Some of the so-called psychics use tricks to learn about strangers, such as planting people in the audience, who transmit, by microphone, any little tidbits a particular person may divulge to their friend next to them. The modern television shows may be a bit more credible, but then your skepticism is aroused when a clue is vague. Is the psychic being deliberately vague, or is the message he is psychically receiving necessarily symbolic in some cases? However, these people are successful enough in the majority of cases to make you wonder. Are accurate psychic readings a possibility? There are also television shows portraying psychics helping to solve crimes that the police cannot. This isn't just a story. There are real people who do this and solve cases! As for the fortune telling lady, gussied up in sparkling scarves and jewels and a globe in which she sees the future, she is a bit more suspect. She may truly provide accurate psychic readings, but the drama tends to make you laugh it off – unless she says something that's really on the mark! Or are you just reading more into it, because it's what you want to hear? Some of these fortune tellers have a number of occult based talents, such as reading tea leaves, palms or Tarot cards. Coupled with the blinking neon sign advertising the presence of her shop, a skeptic remains a skeptic. On the other hand, there are notable figures in history who have apparently possessed an uncanny ability to deliver accurate psychic readings. How about Joan d'Arc? She said that God had, in a dream, instructed her just how to keep the French Dauphin on the French throne. The Dauphin doubted her authenticity and disguised himself during her audience in order to expose her as a fraud. She picked him out nonetheless. Having gained his trust, she did indeed give him accurate psychic readings of just what course of action was required. She then led the men into battle, winning again and again in seemingly hopeless circumstances. Later captured by the British, she was eventually burned at the stake as a witch, but ironically bestowed with Sainthood by the church. What about Nostradamus and his famous book of riddles and visions which stretched far into the future? Much of his prose was symbolic, and evidently re-ordered each of his visions, such that establishing time lines would be next to impossible. Malachi, accurately predicted all of the remaining Popes, detailed profiles with each Pope's both name, nation and characteristics of manner and physically. According to Malachi, Pope Benedict XVI is to be the last. Given his track record so far, accurate psychic readings must be considered.Women and men, in 14th and 15th century convents and monasteries, such as St. Teresa of Avila, Catherine of Siena and St. John of the Cross, spent their lives in meditation and contemplation. Each saw a number of what were then termed visions. Because these people lived a sequestered life, society was not generally aware of the idea of visions or psychic ability. The church was not especially eager to have this sort of 'behavior' made public and privately began bestowing the status of Doctor of the Church', as a sort of special classification. It makes an interesting idea to throw into the mix of accurate psychic readings. The visions experienced by these people, centuries ago, have similarities to what the modern day terms 'psychic phenomena', in so far that psychics see things others do not see or hear and may also know of events to come in the future. It's true that there are today people in mental hospitals who are simply delusional. Then again, there are people who are proved to be accurate in their predictions. Look at Jeanne Dixon, the psychic who tried to warn the Kennedy's of her vision. However, personal experience is most convincing. Most people remain skeptical of those advertising accurate psychic readings. Unless it happens to you, there will always be room for doubt.CommentsLoading...
